    Let me know what you find out...

    I am going through the pain right now of trying to learn how to
write WDM drivers for windows...well, for actually two reasons, but the
DIY reason is the main one...

    I haven't actually gotten to the point yet of examining how the
various midi drivers work, as it would be nice to take a free ride, as
it were, on some body elses driver.

    One thing that could be done in the "reverse engineering" department
is to get a USB bus analyzer, and take a look at the sort of things that
are going on with a particular USB module, and then duplicate
it...although, if I remember, those analyzers are not cheap.

    I also purchased the Cypress EZ-USB kit...touble is all of the
examples are written for Windows 98, and I have Windows XP (and the XP
DDK)....so, I am going to have some fun when I finally get to that
point.
