Also in the 90s here in NJ... As it was getting warmer and warmer my
digital alarm clock decided to switch from arabic numbers to Klingon. So
I'm putting it into the fridge every morning to have a somewhat readable
display in the evening but next morning the same guessing game starts
again. (Yes, I know. The usual "let's glue this plastic crap to the LCD"
problem... Tried to fix it, but nothing really lasted.)

Can be rather amusing as I like getting up at hours like
