Chris Hugget (EDP Wasp, Oscar, etc) certainly did.

So did David Cockerell (VCS3, Akai S1000, etc.)

I know because I applied for a job with Akai doing Sxxx series s/ware dev 
and was interviewed by all them at the same time.

It was a very surreal conversation half hour...

David Cockerell has a dog called - wait for it... - Patch. :-)
