The DG211 is a good all round device...originally, it was a low cost
version of the DG201. The only difference between the two is that the
DG211 requires +/-15V and +5V where the DG201 only requires +/-15V. Now
days, the DG201 and DG211 seem to cost the same. I have switched back
to the DG201 since it requires 1 less supply net to route on PC boards.
In small quantities, both parts cost about $2 each.
The are pretty much the only analog switches I use just because I don't
have to worry about dynamic range. I am not too sure how good they work
in Sample and Holds...I will be finding out shortly, however.
