Doepfer are not happy either, and are keeping a keen eye on the situation
too. The described functionality of the non-Moog clones is virtually
identical to the equivalent Doepfer module, and in many cases, the text
looks like it has actually been cut-and-pasted from the Doepfer web pages.
Not very subtle at all.
Having looked through the relevant synthesizers.com threads, I suspect the
guy running it was deluged with emails from fans of boths camps
(Synthesizers.com and Doepfer), asking just exactly what he was up to. As
far as I can tell, so far he has been putting a 'big system' together, and
thus has not fulfilled any orders for individual modules - when he does, it
should become clear just what he is about.
