I like sometimes to lower bass with pitchbender to several
(like 4) Hz. Of course I don't hear the 4 Hz as frequency, but thanks to it's harmonics it sounds like series of bhfroomps.
There's no difference for me between LFO and VCO. I play 4Hz
VCO sometimes and sometimes modulate with 500Hz LFO.
There are psycho-acoustic devices, mainly aimed into boombox
comunity, that add some harmonics so you think you hear
down to 10Hz or so. I've heard them and it sounds to me
just like distorted signal. I must be psycho-retarded.
