On the subject of wives,

I have to say, whilst my wife is not a "geek" she is incredibly tolerant of
'geeks' and my 'geekdom'.
some of the reasons;-

1) she puts up with me spending 4-6 hours a night in my 'room' soldering and
making very strange noises
2) She understands what a PPG is
3) She likes most of *my* music
4) She put up with a house full of geeks for a weekend, 4 years running
5) She doesn't mind me spending money on synths/electronic components :-)
6) She can actually tell you what a resistor and capacitor looks like (mosty
becuase she's stood on one or the other)
7) she is happy to move abroad if I get a job building synths for a company
8) She helps out with my company books
9) she's very sexy ;-P
