[sdiy] schematics midi sequencer???

Roman Sowa (of this list) has a board that will take
a seven bit word and send the appropriate  midi note
on...
it can also send velocity or volume based on an analog
voltage at the time of scanning a new note.

I use this for my quantized midi theremin.  I think he
was
working on a sequencer application using a similar
technique.

You could take a std analog sequencer, digitize the
output
to seven bits and  use Roman's board for the midi
part.
