[sdiy] Cleaning old serge pots? (crossposted)

Hi all,

A friend recently bought an old Serge, supposedly built from kits, that has
a serious case of scratchy pots.  Between us we've got CaiLube, DeOxit, some
other kind of flushing crap, and a can of compressed air.  What is the best
approach in cleaning these pots?  I'd rather not open them all up, and I'm
pretty sure DeOxit is a bad idea.  Maybe tuner cleaner might be good?

Help us bring this piece back to good health, I'm all ears.
