Take a look at the datasheet.  Here's a link to a copy:

If you look on page 4, you'll see the data you're looking for:

With supply voltage (VDD) of 5V, you should see a minimum of 4.95V on a
logic high (VOH) and a maximum of .05V on a low (VOL).

So, essentially, you should see 0V on a low output and 5V (or VDD) on a
high output.  

Also note that it tells you how much current the output can source/sink and
a variety of other useful info.
