Stanstead is only 30 miles away, and you have several choices:

1) there is a direct train link from Stansted to Cambridge, about 30mins
travel time (check with www.rail.co.uk/ukrail/planner/planner.htm)

2) there is a direct coach service from Stansted to Cambridge
	http://www.nationalexpress.com/p.cfm?n=pai-std

3) taxi (expensive, but not too bad if sharing, about 45 quid the last
time I did it)
