I don't have personal experience with any of the options (I did some work
on an Atmel DSP IC that was a beta version - oh the joys of
not-quite-working instructions), but I can point one big advantage of
Chameleon: MIDI input. It is not always trivial to integrate into existing
solutions, especially as the baud rate is somewhat non-standard.
