check the CV's going into the VCF, see if they'r schanging based on the
cutoff slider position. I'm assuming that even at the low volume you talk
about you can hear no change in the filter cutoff when you move this slider.
If you're lucky, whatever they're using to sum the CV's (should be an op
amp but I don't have the docs in front of me) is blown. If not, you'll be
learning alot about the ARP filter. Oh yeah, 2 more things to check
(perennial ARP issues) 1: OHM out or check the voltage on the cutoff fader.
Arp faders corrode and are susceptible to bad electrical contact. If the
faders shorting at the low voltage end, this would create the problem you're
describing.
2: The board interconnects on the oddyssey are molex's. They're big pins
that fit into a receptacle. Check for cold joints on the pin that's running
the CV to the filter, also check the tension on the receptacle contacts.
