[sdiy] PC based oscilloscopes

Hi,

I've looked at the Bitscope too before I bought my scope. Although it's
a great concept, I never considered it because of the crappy software
that comes with it. Of course you can write your own, but I'd rather
spend my time on building synth stuff. Anyway, try out the software
for yourself to get an idea.

Bert

Hi ..one of the best 'pc' based scopes I have seen ..is the ' bitscope'.
Check out :-

http://www.bitscope.com/

I havent got around to building one myself yet ..but when I get the chance I
will.
Its basically a hardware design from which you can upload/download to a pc
through fast serial. Its also a modular design so you can add things like
logic analyser modules etc.
You can get it in kit form for a very reasonable price.

cheers
steve
