[sdiy] "obsolete" 2N3906

Hi All --

I just received a notice from DigiKey that the 2N3906 is now obsolete and 
to be discontinued.

A quick check at the Fairchild site suggests that only two varieties are 
being dropped.

I have written to Digi explaining that this is perhaps the most common 
general purpose pnp transistor and that they should continue to stock it in 
some form.

Boy, are these people stupid, or what?
