If you are looking for a BBD or BBD-Like delay, I'd look into a couple options.
Option 1. Princton PT2399 based delays. This is a small digital chip.
Option 2. BL3208B based delays. This is a still-in-production BBD that
is pretty darned cheap.
For a Princton based unit designed for a stompbox, try
http://www.generalguitargadgets.com and look for the PT-80, a circuit board
is available although I made my own so I'd have a flange for panel mounting.
http://www.diystompboxes.com/cgi-bin/webbbs_scripts/webbbs_config.pl?read=362
for a delay based on the BL3208B. This one uses 3 BBDs for a total delay
of 600ms if you dont mind a bit of noise and a lack of frequency responce.
EvilBay is kinda bad for this sort of thing IMHO because usually what
people sell on there is already available on the web somewhere.
