How about DB-9 (or HD15) sockets on the panel...and
individual pins with wires soldered to them for plugs. Maybe
a touch of heatshrink tubing as a final touch ???

The hardest part will be LABELING the socket... maybe just
take a silver paint pen and highlight the molded-in numbers

(that I still could not read without a microscope... and suspect that
YOU can't either, Batz....    :^)
