the atari st doesn't boot from a disk. turn it on, in 2 seconds it's
operational. later versons, like the mega ste i still have, were bootable
from the hd when it came to accessiories, but the basic os was in a rom
chip.
when it comes to an os, pretty soon you';ll be able to bring your own
personalized os on one of those usb keychain sticks..
