Lindows recently introduced a small PC with no hard
drive, it boots their version of Linux entirely from CD.

You should see more of this in the future. 
Always thought the Atari ST was a good basic idea.
(What kind of sickie enjoys waiting for an OS to 
load from a hard drive?? I am not that kind of 
sickie....just an analog sickie. Never played DOOM
in my life. Hahahaha!)
