It's not outside the what a human ear can distinguish--IF were are
comparing two signals at the same time--one of which was generated by a TOG
driven at 2.00000 MHz and another driven at 2.00024 MHz. If my calculations
are correct, the ubiquitous A440 would exhibit a beating of once every 19
seconds. I know that's not objectionable for most purposes, and might even
be desirable, but the point is that it *is* audible. Depending on exactly
what you want to do with your TOGs, this amount of error might not be
acceptable, but for most cases is probably tolerable.
