it's why we drive an old timer. i'll roll my own window up and down..no need
for electronics. i can't even imagine the nightmares that the current
computercars will give their owners in 20 years.. i've seen too many 80's
cars with those 'trip computers' that are broken.. or bmw's that keep
telling their owner to be serviced, even though it's just been done.
the other bad thing about this miniaturisation (is that a word?) is that
there's not much left for us circuit benders.. it used to be that in toys
and casio keyboards there were plenty of 'bendable' parts and places on the
board. these days talking toys have so few parts or are so small you can't
really solder to them.
