Recently I visited my parents, and I suddenly remebered that still there are 8 Visaton WS26B bass
chassis sitting in their package and waiting for some application.
I took them home to my place.
One of the boxes has the real Visaton label on it, the others have none. I wonder if they are not
fakes, but the speakers look all very similar. I noticed that the free air resonance
is way higher then the data sheets says, but there are huge tolerances anyway.
I plan to build 8 closed enclosures (no vents, no recsonance modes) and to drive the
8 speakers in parallel from resonance up to -say- 100 Hz.
Has anyone a better idea?

Subject: [sdiy] 10Hz subwoofer anyone?
There was subwoofer thread recently, so I thought some may be interested in this link:
http://www.royaldevice.com/custom3.htm
Plans and pictures of building subwoofer with full power response downto 10Hz, as claimed. And nice little listening room, like those we all have ;)
Be preapred to see lot's of words like best, biggest, highest fidelity, other designs are just crap, etc.
