I recently purchased this neat little step sequencer from:

http://www.dinsync.com/

on this page:

http://emblab.com.hosting.domaindirect.com/Electro/Seq.htm

...and was wondering if anyone else had bought one of these.

I am having an issue with it's operation and the manufacturer has told
me that it's working fine and has not been very communicative since.

Anyway, if you have one, let me know if it works like this for you:

There are 8 note tuning knobs on the unit.

The seqencer always starts one step before step 1 and making a total of
9 notes. This step "0" puts out 0v and cannot be adjusted or removed
from any pattern

The 6 positions of the loop selector are giving me this:

pos-1 step 0 (one note)
pos-2 step 0-1 (two notes)
pos-3 step 0-1-2 (three notes)
pos-4 step 0-1-2-3-4 (five notes)
pos-5 step 0-1-2-3-4-5-6 (six notes)
pos-6 step 0-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8 (nine notes)

At least one of the sample siles on the web site have 8 note sequences -
how is this possible if this is normal operation?

anyone?
