I have a "Hobby Electronics" DIY analogue computer design
from the mid 1980s, and there was another one last year in
"Everyday Electronics". Both are fairly simple and don't
include diode function generators or multipliers. I can scan
the Hobby Electronics one if anyone's interested. The
Everyday Electronics should still be available as a back
issue - November 2002 - Analogue Computer with PC
interface.
I got as far as building an exponentially voltage controlled
integrator last year (out of a THAT2150), but never got
around to building a full analogue computer so I don't know
how useful it would be musically.
