Not true. Since we're on the subject of granular synthesis,in my DSP simulations
I found that several parameters can
vary simultaneously, but are somehow correlated : for instance
a variation of density can occur simultaneously with a variation
in freq. distribution and ADSR of each grain.
Such slightly (or strongly) correlated parameters give the final
sound structure its inner life & richness...
It's that kind of relationship between parameters that I think
some GUI based around "rules" could make easier to handle...
