[sdiy] PCB Design Software

Hi ..I have also played around with the free version of AUTOTRAX EDA. As
Jim says ..it does have some bugs and features like design rule checking
that werent implemented. Also when I tried the autorouter..it
didnt seem to work properly (even for a simple circuit). I emailed Ilija
Kovacevic and he said that more work needs to be done on the router..which
will be done in the 'next few weeks'. That seems to imply that the router is
still not functioning properly in the version you can buy. However, you do
get 1 years free upgrades if you purchase. I would use this software mainly
for schematic capture/pcb routing and am tempted to buy it at this price.

cheers
steve thomas
