[sdiy] phantom power: how to avoid electrolytics?

OK, i understand that Mertin does not want to use
a transformer for some reasons.
IMHO a capacitor is also out of question for DC blocking
in the audio path.

What other options would we have ?
Would it be possible to use a single PNP LTP stage to go from the
DC offset (Phantom power voltage) to line level (no offset) ?
OK, we would need a negative supply, and one that is a few volts above
the phantom voltage; but it should work ?
This should also help with lowering the output impedance.

Or am i overlooking something important ?
