Sorry to drift this even further off-topic, but Tape Op (www.tapeop.com) is 
a good recording magazine. They have lots of interviews with a wide range 
of musicians. It's not synth-specific, but they cover a lot of recording 
techniques. They do have reviews of gear, but the reviews are more of "this 
is what I used in the studio and I found it to work great/bad"

You can even get a free subscription (in the states).
