Well, the short answer to the question "is that it?" is basically Yes, Gnd,
Run and clk are the only necessary pins. The remaining 2 pins are not
implemented consistently.

Just to be sure we are on the same page, the jack pins look like this:
     (2)
  (5) (4)
(3) (1)

The pins you mention are:
1) Run/Stop (aka Start/Stop)
2) Gnd
3) 24PPQ clock

Those 3 will work with all Roland DINsync gear. Some non-Roland sync gear is
48ppq.

Pins 4 and 5 seem to change function on the various xox boxes:

TB-303, TR-606:
4) Tap
5) ??? um, I dunno... its connected to the CPU,
but not labeled in either schematic I have
	Anyone have a clue here?

TR-808:
4) Reset
5) Fill-in

CR-8000:
4) n/c
5) n/c

MC-202, TR-707, TR-727:
4) n/c
5) Continue

I don't have a complete TR-909 schematic, but its a contemporary of the
202,707,727 so I would assume its the implemented same.

I Hope that answers your questions,
