I would like to encourage the population of synth-DIY and AH at
large not to buy anything from Nick Pelkey...
He still owes me $670 from a mixer i paid him for in JULY 2002,
and which he never sent to me. He has not returned any of my money.
A quick look at his feedback profile on ebay shows that he has
bought several expensive items ($420 worth of BBD chips, a $100 camera,
etc....) and pretty much invalidates his claim that he can not repay me
due to lack of money. I retracted my Paypal claim against him (he said
he'd repay me immediately if I did) and the first thing he did was to buy
and sell a bunch of crap on ebay with it.
I will be filing a claim against him in Maine small claims court
in February... and I will be traveling to Maine to appear in court, if
need be.
Stay away, unless you don't mind dealing with a thief.
Nick... you're fucked. Should you ever decide to rip someone off
again, you'd better make damn sure it's not someone who's unemployed, who
has the time and resources to get his money back, and who needs the money
enough they're willing to go to any length to get it back.
thanks,
andy
