[sdiy] Southern California Synth DIY meet

    I finally took the plunge (I wanted to do this last year, but, job
worries made me postpone it...although, this year isn't much better :-)

    I didn't have too many choices about the time, but, here are the
details:

    Date:April 12, 2003
    Time:10am-5pm
    Place:Goleta Branch Library, 500 N. Fairview Ave, Goleta (Santa
Barbara), CA 93117

    It will be in the multipurpose room, and they have tables and
chairs, all we need to do is supply the Synths...

    Have a project you did (scratch, kit, modification, etc), bring it.
If you don't have something to bring and show, come see what others have
brought, and shoot the breeze.  I would suggest headphone to listen to
the equipment, it is not a large room, ~20 x ~40 feet, and it is a
library...

    If you plan on bringing something up, you might want to contact me
so I can get an idea of how crowded we might get.  I am going to set up
a web page with a map and directions.  Hopefully, the weather will be
nice on that day.
