Dear Zoltan ,
I've recently found out that there is an electronic organ constructors
society , see http://eocs.org.uk/
also Colin Pykett has writted two books , one on making an analogue
organ , the other on making a digital organ .
there is more info on these books at http://www.pykett.org.uk/
the analogue book does use mostly standard parts , basicly there are two
main types of designs , divider organs , where the different octaves are
produced from the same master oscilator [ top octave generator ]and free
phase organs that have seperate oscilators for each note .the second
type are less common due to the large amount of circuitry needed .
but some commercial organs use more than one set of top octave
generators to produce a sound more like a pipe organ sound .
if you want to make an organ using digital techniques then you can use a
computer and sound card with Midi to playback samples .
there is more info at http://www.hauptwerk.co.uk/
and http://www.stinson.org.uk/
sometimes it is possible to get service info on the older organs , but
I'm not that familiar with the german models .
