Mmm, epoxy based paint/ink did seem like a good idea to me.
This is used for silk-screening legends to (rubber) key pads, (plastic) font
panels and similar applications.
Apply only _one_thin_ layer with a roller or tampon.
Duno how to put this in english but: The epoxy ink covers (dutch "dekt")
very well, the thinner the layer, the better.
The ink is available from your local silkscreen shop (but not the "we only
do textile" one).
It actually is "normal" ink, but they mix in a amount epoxy just before use.
Still I like the "playmobiel" markers better, less messy for starters.
