[sdiy] matrix-6 pitch lever

I've been working on repairing/refurbishing a couple of Oberheim Matrix-6 
units, and I'm fairly impressed by the sound and functionality of these beasts
-- EXCEPT for the pitch levers;  to quote Bart Simpson, "Before this, I 
thought it was physically impossible for something to SUCK and BLOW at the 
same time."

These definitely need to be replaced with something useful.  While waiting 
for my joystick order to arrive, I thought I'd ask if anybody else out 
there has done anything in this area that might be helpful.
