Yes, if soldered in series.  If soldered in parallel, the result is
50K ohms.  Other values in series and parallel can be used to come up
with specific odd values.

For series, simply add the resistor ohm values.

For many resistors in parallel:

                   1
 R = ----------------------------
      1     1     1            1
     --- + --- + --- + .... + ---
      R1    R2    R3           Rn

Or for simple 2 resistors in parallel:

            R1 * R2
    R =  --------------
            R1 + R2
