i'm actually curious to know if anyone has tried this before. when i first
looked at some of the analog polyphonic (or even monophonic) keyboard schematics
in some of the old books i have, i was astounded at how much space they would
take up. since (especially for a rookie like me) wiring this complex could
very easily lead to shorts and scads of confusion, i thought it might be
practical to have the entire keyboard circuitry on a seperate board directly
below the board holding the VCOs, VCAs, filters, etc. they would be connected
by insulated wire and would possibly free up some horizontal space while
only slightly increasing vertical space (or would it? who knows). anyone
thought out the logistics of this?
