Synth freaks, snugglers, and corn-burners:

As many of you know, I co-host Electric Kingdom, a live-electronics show on U
of M student-run WCBN-FM (88.3, www.wcbn.org) in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Electric Kingdom has been on hiatus for the past several months, but it's
back!!! For those that don't know, Electric Kingdom is a late-night show
focussed on the use of electronics in live performance and is open to all
genres: techno, rock, experimental, collage, easy listening...so long as it
incorporates interesting electronics.

Consistently rated Michigan's top live-electronics show among the 6-18 month
and 55-and-up demographics, Electric Kingdom is a lightning rod for Detroit's
other "other music scene" and the so-called "Ohioan Invasion." Airing friday
nights at midnight (Eastern), Electric Kingdom features no end of analogue
synthesis, sound collage, homebrew gadgetry, laptop techno, and all kinds of
electronic wizardry.

SO, I'd like to invite any of you nearby enough to make the trip to come
perform on the show. We're making up a schedule for the Spring semester right
now, so drop me a line if you're interested. I'm also interested in hearing
from some of you farther away, who could perhaps send me recordings of recent
live performances (could be live in your studio of course), possibly coupled
with a phone call, etc.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Chris Stecker aka Chris Three Sprocket
