Happy New Year, everyone!
For those tube heads who are interested, as well as others
who might want to learn a bit about early op amps (before
transistors), I have posted a copy of the George A.
Philbrick Researches GAP/R K2 series op amp applications
manual. See:
http://www.angelfire.com/electronic/epeasant/circuits/circui
ts.html
It's under Data Sheets, about half way down the page.
It's 27 pages, covering a wide range of computing
functions, including an adjustable lag circuit that looks
very similar to the basic portamento circuit used by many
Synth DIYers. I'd be very interested to hear other's
comments on the material presented here (first published
1956).
Take care,
Doug
