I don't have a full SDS8 schematic but I reverse engineered
part of one a few years ago. The pad input is just a 47K pot with
a 10K from the wiper into the + pin of an LM324. The "sequencer"
input is just 10K to ground and 1M0 into the same opamp. These
things are designed for drummers, so they're fairly bomb proof!
There's no input cap, so if you apply and DC to the input it could
hold the VCA and filter open a bit...
