[sdiy] PAIA 9700 -- experiences?

This is fairly close to what I'd say (I have built a 9700), it's a good unit
(although this is not really a valid opinion because it's the only modular
I've really used) but the jacks and the plugs are pretty bad, and the legend
on the faceplates scratches off way too easily.
