Just to make it clear:
0. I tryed to summarize in English what Mr. Wehr has written in German
1. I do not defend or reject Mr. Wehr's thesis.
2. I'm by no means an expert in this mathematical field nor in mathematics.
3. I have the impression that his arguments have some reason.
4. I have read and understood basic text on "chaos", so
   I know about Ljapunov exponents, Poincare sections etc.
5. I think that Mr. Wehr is no charlatan, but has several
   publications in the math world. Yes, I think he looks at
   the problem from the math theory side, this can be seen
   from his argumentation with number theory etc.
6. The main puzzle seems to be really: how can you compare
   simulation and experiment when the slightest error on
   both sides can produce exponential growing difference
   in the trajectories?
