OK. First of all fetch the service-manual that I have on the web at:

Beware of the ECO on envelope trimming!

There is a hint for filters which isn't in the manual... trim the filter by
adjusting the offset on the top key and then adjust scale by selecting a
LOWER tone, 2-3 octaves down.

If you follow the service manual with the extra hints, trimming the OB-8 is
mostly a walk in the park, with the VCF trimming as the most straining part.
