How about the MAT-03 from Analog Devices for a good
PNP pair.

Or for a lower cost pair, the 2SA798  (getting a little hard to
find... but only $1.00 or so

The 2SA1349 is another pair (getting hard to find also) that does
not have the emitters tied together (which you might not want)

Most folk like high gain and low R(b-e) for expos.  I'm not experienced
enough to have noticed much difference (so far)
