I don't have sound samples for linear thru-zero FM at hand,
but I have some sound clips of a CS-50 thru frequency shifter,
where a down-shift (with higher amount than the note you're
playing) also causes a shift "into the negative".
I remember I've made use of this in my song "Beryll On Copper",
but I'm not sure if these parts are included in the short mp3
samples or not. Try these if you like:
