[sdiy] Rene Schmitz CD4007 VCF Problem w/ Resonance

hey everyone.. 

I just finished building rene's cd4007 vcf.. it sounds pretty good to me.. i'm happy with it..  one problem, if it turn the resonance up all the way, it stalls..  this may be because of the pot i used.. all i had were 100k..  how can i fix this?   anyone, anyone? ?
