Even though it's lots of fun to hear demos using 40+ modules all going at once, here is a 6-track
demo using the *same patch* and only a "basic voice": 3 VCOs, 2 EGs, a VCF and a VCA. 1 LFO used
to make it interesting. Demo by Mike Marsh, with notes below.

All the voices are the same patch with slight knob tweaks for each one. The basic patch consists
of 3 VCOs (2x300, 1x310). One 300 SQR out, one 300 SAW OUT, and the 310 SHAPE knob half way. All
outs go to a 420, the out of the 420 to a 190. One 800 mods the 420 and one mods the 190. Very
straightforward VCO->Filter->VCA patch. Tweaks to the ATTACK knobs on the 800s and the FREQ knob
of the filter were made for each voice. A MOTM-380 Quad LFO was use to "waver" the VCF timbre
slightly note-by-note.

It's an old synthesist's trick: combine a simple voice into a more complex whole.

The music itself is even simpler. The whole piece is a single 16 step sequence. I used Seq-303
software from (now-defunct) Techno
Toys to generate the sequence and a Kenton Pro Solo to drive the resulting MIDI into CV for the
MOTM. The bass part is played in
quarter notes, the two baritone parts in 8ths and 3 high parts in Sixteenths (that's the
'fractal' bit). Some parts went through the
sequence forwards, some backwards, and some back and forth.
