I think he's into Vocal SImulation (VOSIM) as desicribed in
Hal Chamberlin bible, page 471. Perhaps he's also into vocal
simulation using diphones and other vocal tract emualtions.
Wich reminds me about generating formants out of hard syncing
a simple vco using a tringle wave,the trick are not to vary both
oscillators but instead use a fixed pitch of the master and
varying the frequency of the slaved triangle. Very simple,
but creates very strong formants!

Speaking of wich, i just did a quick search on the net seconds
after writing previous , and found some advantagement to what i
