One word of caution: there are Cliff jacks, and there are Cliff jacks.
The 3.5 mm type were recently redesigned to improve the unreliability that
plagued the modular manufacturers, and everyone, that used them.
Unfortunately, while I once had the information on which they were (part
number), I don't have that data any longer, but I do know that the repaired
ones were assigned a new part number by Cliff and that the they are not yet
available through Cliff USA in bulk, but are 'on their way' or so says the
USA office as I have made queries on acquiring a handful to replace some of
the tired old types in some of my equipment.
Also be aware that the euro manufacturers who use these jacks have been
installing the new part for some time.
If you find these new ones, I would definitely recommend them. The action
is great and for a jack, they're kind of attractive.
