[sdiy] Service manuals (was: Old magazines)

I have a Tektronix 547 scope and, like Colin, balked at paying a lot of
money for a manual. I ended up finding one on eBay for US $8.00. Yes, I felt
lucky. Just keep your eyes peeled, you never know.

Wow! On a whim I just did a quick eBay search and found manuals for the Tek
468:

Bid away, Colin!

Also, EU 25 for a service manual doesn't sound too bad to me. During my
search they were usually going for much more than that (in US dollars).

Ummmmm....in my experience, as service manuals go that's a bargain.

For what it's worth, I need a manual for a Tek 468 'scope.
I now get an error on power-up, instead of a nice happy display.
The only source I know of wants US$75 for a photocopied service
manual. That doesn't seem unreasonable to me, though I am wondering
if anyone out there has one they want to part with....
