The biggest thing of note about the CA3140 is the very low input bias
current. They are a good choice for the integrator in a VCO as you will be
able to get greater than a 1,000,000 to 1 tuning range. This is the opamp
that is shown in the ASM-1 VCO. Other than that, the CA3140 really is just
a general purpose run of the mill amplifier. I have used them quite a
bit. A very nice amplifier...in fact.
